"A community is the mental and spiritual condition of knowing that the place is shared, and that the people who share the place define and limit the possibilities of each other's lives. It is the knowledge that people have of each other, their concern for each other, their trust in each other, the freedom with which they come and go among themselves."

  1. Square dancing was my favorite part! Randy shared a lot of his knowledge and many talents with us and I'm very grateful for this. I hope I can remember all the steps and bring some back home with me! :)

  2. "Their is no such thing and problem children, their are children with problems." Famous quote from a one room school teacher that was tough as nails and sold tupperware to be able to reach out to children and families in their homes. She also stated that children may not return and see their families but they make sure to stop in and see her. What an inspiring story and an amazing woman. We lunched at the nursing home and chatted up the residents. Randy Wilson played music for both the residents and then took us to a school to dance with lively first graders. Children and old ones always makes me laugh with joy.
